Wed off + King + wind + 2.5 hrs = bonk

So I thought it would be a good idea to ride with someone instead of solo. I emailed King and he was IN. I wanted to take advantage of a day off that had temps in the upper 40's and low 50's/. I'd say i was overdressed ( big shocker, i know). I had the cross rig kitted up with the commuter wheels with the 28mm tires, and fenders to keep the wet off from the melting snow. We rolled west into a very stout westerly headwind. 8-10 mph my ass!
Of course i knew kind would take us over anything that resembled an uphill, but i needed it for a good ass kickin to my system.
I was pretty much cooked at the end of it, and was glad to return home to a hot shower.
It was a good day for the ride, and im glad King came out to beat me up some.

I have decided i need to get someone else to take pics on the rides, because just about every post with pics is about the same. Fortunately i change kits, and there is less snow on the ground than last time, otherwise i think people would accuse me of just re-using pics from rides.
